Power generation and utility equipment lives outdoors, unattended, for decades. Whatever is inside the box is protected by the box — so the enclosure carries the load-bearing requirements: heavy-gauge panels that stay flat, weldments that stay square under vibration, doors and access panels that still seal after a thousand cycles, and a coating system that survives UV, salt, and temperature swing. That is precision sheet metal work, and it is what SPM does: punching, forming, and laser cutting with lights-out automation, certified welding, in-house powder coating, and electro-mechanical assembly, all under one roof across three Texas facilities.

To be clear about where we fit: SPM builds the fabricated metal — enclosures, cabinets, skid weldments, mounting panels, and access hardware. We do not manufacture engines, alternators, or switchgear internals. If you build that equipment and you need a fabrication partner who can hold finish and dimension across a long production program, that is the conversation we are good at.

Because the work stays in-house, the part does not change hands between shops on its way to finished goods. Our ERP system carries traceability, quality tracking, and order visibility across the whole run, and our inventory management program can hold stock in our facility, yours, or both.
