Quality is at the foundation of what we do at SPM. Our Mission begins with “To Consistently Deliver” which is the heart of what Quality is to us. Our goal is to develop stable, capable, and reliable processes so that the needs and expectations for all of our customers, internal and external, are consistently met and exceeded. This comes by way of two key fundamentals – Partnerships and Data.

By developing Partnerships with our customers we are able to not only provide them with a product they need, but also utilize our extensive knowledge in contract manufacturing to help them achieve a competitive advantage in their industry. We look beyond the part and work in unison with them to identify how potential improvements can be implemented in our facility and help make processes better for our customer and ultimately the end user.

Data is the basis behind the actions we take at SPM. We use both qualitative and quantitative analysis to drive improvement. We understand there is natural variation in all things. Our objective is to focus on the need to reduce variation in our processes and materials which allow us to take a more preventative role in quality versus just a reactionary response.

In an effort to capture this much needed data, we utilize Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). This allows us to provide more meaningful precision and accuracy with our parts. It also allows us to drive process corrections and provide usable data to guide our customers’ improvements as well. We incorporate a Romer Arm with PC DMIS software along with other key tools to capture and analyze this data.
