Metal Forming is an essential part of sheet metal manufacturing, and SPM has the capability to handle any of your forming needs. We are continually investing in state-of-the-art machines, especially those that are capable of automatically changing their own tooling (ATCs), which saves time and money for our customers. Our Metal Forming department also includes more than 20 manual press brakes, with experienced operators that are capable of producing very complex, tight-tolerance parts.

Before the forming process begins, our Engineering team uses bend simulation technology to validate our processes and ensure repeatability. Jobs with a high mix of parts can be sent to our two Amada EG AR robotic bending systems, which are capable of lights-out automation. Our EGs and Amada ATCs eliminate the costly delays associated with conventional tool changes and test bends so that our customers pay the lowest price possible.
